Booking your first appointment

How to get started

  1. Book a free 15-minute call. A relaxed chat online to talk about what’s bringing you to counselling and whether we’re a good fit.

  2. Book your first session. If we decide to work together, I’ll send you a link to my secure client portal to book.

  3. Read and sign the consent form. I’ll send this after our call. You’re welcome to read it beforehand.

Hours (Japan time)

Monday to Friday: 9am–8pm
Saturday and Sunday: 9am–6pm (weekend availability varies week to week)

Earlier morning and later evening appointments may be available by arrangement. If you need a time outside these hours, just email me and I’ll do my best to find something that works.

Where sessions happen

  • Online: secure video sessions via Zoom, for clients anywhere

  • Home visits: available for couples in central Tokyo, on request

  • In person: a practice in Setagaya is planned for mid-2027

I work with adults and young people aged 16 and over.

Tokyo Heart and Mind Counselling is not a crisis service. I am only available during working hours.
