Grief Support Circle
Grief is not a linear process, and it rarely looks just one way.
Whether you are mourning the death of a loved one or a pet, navigating the heavy transitions of losing your health, a job, financial stability, or a home, your grief is welcome here. Many of us also carry anticipatory grief—watching a loved one change through dementia or chronic illness, or grieving the path of infertility.
When you live abroad, away from your familiar support systems, these feelings can feel even more overwhelming and isolating. You do not have to carry them alone.
Starting this November, I am hosting a free, monthly online support group to bring people together to connect, listen, and share their experiences around grief and loss.
📅 When: Every 2nd Tuesday of the month
⏰ Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
🚀 First Session: Tuesday, November 10th
📍 Where: Online. Please complete registration to get your Google link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc31XEKoUEjhWKnAKtg6rasUK0XlEQ51nvrORDIIK26tT-3bA/viewform?usp=publish-editor
🪙 Cost: Entirely Free
This is a casual, informal, and open get-together. Some months we might explore specific themes, and other times we will just have a free space to talk.Your level of participation is entirely up to you. If you want to share, we are here to listen. If you simply want to sit back, and observe, that is completely okay, there is no pressure to speak. Everyone is welcome.
Our Community Guidelines
To keep this space safe, supportive, and comforting for everyone who attends, we ask all participants to agree to the following guidelines:
Strict Confidentiality: What is shared in the group stays in the group. Please respect everyone's privacy by not sharing any personal stories or identities outside of our sessions.
No Advice-Giving: We are here to witness and support, not to fix. Please avoid offering unsolicited advice, critique, or "solutions" unless explicitly asked by the speaker.
Respect Diverse Experiences: Grief looks different for everyone, and no two losses are the same. We welcome all forms of grief without judgment or comparison.
Share the Airtime: We want to ensure everyone who wishes to speak has the time and space to do so. Please be mindful of how much time you take up.
Freedom to Just Witness: There is never any pressure to speak or participate. Choosing to listen quietly is a valued and respected way of being part of this community.
